Liza Constable, guitar, ukulele. Liza has caght the attention of people from festival go-ers to NPR host Noah Adams who devoted most of a 22 minute interview segment about “The Sevens” new CD release to LIza’s songs and an interview with her. A guitarist since the age of 10, and a master of intense vocal styling, Liza has that rare ability to sing and play a variety of styles. She appears on numerous recrdings, most notably, “In My Girlsih Days”, her debut solo blues and vintage swing CD. “I love Liza’s singing and I’ve loved it for years! Val Blachly, upright bass. Val’s lifelong interest in music has taken her from singing opera, at the age of 15, to studying piano, clarinet, and guitar to discovering her mother’s old jazz 78s. She has performed since the early 1970s with various bluegrass and folk groups, and with the hugely popular swing trio “Sweet Hot and Sassy,” well loved in New England. She performs with her husband in the quartet “The Mink Hills Band” and continues to stun adiences with her sweet soprano. Frequently in the studio. she has appeared on 5 recordings, one of which is all original childrens songs!

Agnes Charlesworth, piano. Agnes spent her first 20 years of adult life in San Francisco immersed in a broud spectrum of musical styles from down home blues, jazz and Cuban montunos, to electronic music. She did her master’s work in composition at the Center for Contemporary Music in Oakland, and went on to work in sound design for film, video and installation, performing the Bay Area. Since relocating to Maine, she has created an original score and soundscape for the New Hampshire Theatre Project (The Odyssey), designed a sound installation, “Lullabies from the Cradle of Civilization”, for the York Historical Society, and recorded 2 CDs. An enthusiastic and versatile keyboardist, singer and harmonica player of American roots, Celtic and Latin music, she has added her talents to many seacoast ensembles.
